The European Day of Languages was set up to encourage language learning across Europe. It is celebrated every year on the 26th September. This year we wanted to celebrate it by looking at languages further afield. We decided on Punjabi after a successful visit from our Indian guests Arjot and Ruchira as part the International Inspirations programme.
Arjot spent some time with us in MFL and recorded the following podcasts to give you a quick flavour of the language:

London Time
Paris Time
Berlin Time
Madrid Time
All of the recordings were very good because they all sounded very French but they could improve by being less nervous and being a little more enthusiastic. But on the whole for a first try it was very good.

9HTC struggled to pronounce the words correctly. We ended up doing 1 - 10 in French, German, Spanish, Japanese and Korean instead.
